What Would You Do When Tradition Collides With Religion?

Yesterday some men were having an argument about an issue which
bordered between religion and tradition.

One of the men said when he dies his children would do something for
him. One of the men there said it is not good as a Christian to
advise his children to do such.
They both were arguing when the third man stepped in and argued in
favour of the first man.

Quoting the bible he said Jesus came not to change the law but to fulfill them.

So brethrens in the house when a situation where your tradition
collides with your religion which one will you choose?
