The reason why there are no local translations for many English words
in Nigeria is simple because those words (things) never existed in our
locality.

Those words are names of things which probably exist in the first
English speaking countries.

You give names to things which exists in your locality or things you
see with your own eyes.
Our early ancesstors therefore only recognized and gave names to what
was around them and what happened around them.


So you know the reason why there is no name for snow in your local
dialect in Nigeria? Not only snow but also other things.
