Explanation To The Poem "The Good Old Days"

Have you sat down one day and you had memories of things you did back
then and you smiled and wish it could happen again? That's how the
feeling of the good old days is.
The poem was talking about the better days which were gone with time,
the better days which were gone on sunset.
I the poet wished those days would come back and everything would be alright.
Just the way my town people remember ten years ago and say chai!! Ten
years ago the town was peaceful and businesses were growing, but now
peace is almost non-existent though the troublemakers just had
amnesty.
That feeling Nigerians have when they remember how well they fared in
the last years and their current condition now.
The later part of the poem said we should come together in peace to
make things work, so that we can be happy just like in the good old
days.
